I've been exploring the possibilities of building my own flight controls. I really want something to replace my ch pedals but don't want to drop the $500+. The ch pedals are nice, but they have a very cheap feel and weak spring tension. If I build my own price really doesn't matter to me for some reason (I don't get it either). Since my design in my head at the moment would require machined aluminum parts, I've been trying to find ways to create them. I don't think a hack saw and metal file will cut it. I found this site that looks very promising on building a CNC machine using a dremel. What caught my eye is some of the designs on the site had accuracies good enough to manufacture printed circuit boards and a very large base of builders so I don't think he's claiming any bs. www.crankorgan.com/Thought you might find it interesting.

Like Stecher said, I use a hosting site to upload images to when I need to post pictures. I use photobucket.com. It was literally the first one I found, and I've been happy with them. There are others out there that may be better.
My last stick was an Saitek X-45. I really liked it while it lasted and my only complaint was the centering mechanism. I think all Saitek sticks use a spring/plunger. After a few hours of use, the contact between the plunger and base gets sticky. If this happens to yours, I found that dripping wax from a birthday candle on the contact points helps alot. It bought me another year, till the pots started going out. Even then I could have replaced them, but I kept hearing how great ch products were so I went with them.
Welcome to the trackir club. After the teething period you wont want to fly without one. If you need any help setting up profiles, feel free to ask. Did you get the track-clip with yours? I've been curious if looking like a Borg knockoff is worth the added performance.
I really like those f-16 pedals on the site.
