S!. Tonight I had three wierd experiences while on my pc. My pc froze three times in total. The first time I assumed it was a covincidence and restarted via the restart button. When the pc froze again after i had scanned my windows and java folder with up to date scanner I assumed it was a hacker, and pulled my network cable out (not breaking it). I restarted my pc as before and hunted around my pc for suspucious files and such. When my pc did it again, I I screamed F***!. WHile restarting for the third time, my monitor cut out. Now I was confused, had a virus got into my bios ? I took my video card out to find that the fan on it was hot. I let it cool down and put it back in to see my system loading up again. IN conclusion, I think a virus or a hacker somehow overclocked my video card or something. I did notice a double XP O/S screen which was very odd, because I have not reinstalled XP for atleast six months. I have reserved a fan on the side panel of my pc to put cool air in my case to keep that card cool. THe card is an nVidia Geforce 2MX 400x. I've had it for the longest time, and have not encountered any problems like this. Any ideas ? (I type way to much).

Sounds like the card is going. You probably own the last 2MX 400 and its likely that its just getting old and is on its way out. I highly doubt its a hacker, could be a virus, but honestly no hacker is going to waste time destroying one person's computer unless you really pissed them off.
If you don't think its the card, I would try backing up the files you want to keep and wiping the HD.
If you do think its the card and the problem continues I have three MX 440 cards I'm never going to use again lying around the apartment and you could have one of those. In about a month I'll be transferring my 6800gt from my other computer to my online computer so there will be a FX5500 up for grabs too.

If you want the MX440s I'll send you one for free, they still go for $25-$30 but there's no way I'm charging for one of those, you just pay shipping. The FX5500 is an nVidia card I got from AGP. Here is a description I pulled off ebay.
>>GPU NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX 5500 >> Bus Type AGP >> Memory 256MB DDR >> Core Clock 290MHz (vs. 270MHz standard) >> RAMDAC Dual 350MHz >> API Support Microsoft® DirectX®, Open GL ICD® L for Microsoft® Windows® <br>>> Connectors VGA, S-Video-Out >> 72.5 million vertices/sec setup >> AGP 8x/4x/2x compatible >> Up to 4 pixels per clock rendering engine >> 2 dual-rendering pipelines
The AGP FX5500 comes overclocked from the factory which is cool. Like I said this one might not be available for about a month though. This card still goes for anywhere from $65-$75 new. The card is in perfect condition. I've never overheated it and its always run super smooth. If you want it make me an offer on it and I'll see if I can make it available sooner.
If not, the MX440s aren't terrible cards and will easily run Il2. It won't run some of the newer stuf like Splinter Cell or Doom3 but it can handle everybody's favorite flight sim just fine.
