Last night after the mission I got infected with "XP Antispyware 2009" I'm a computer illiterate so I'm in trouble with this. Hopefully I can have this resolved with out too much damage to my system, otherwise I may be out for a while. Luckily there is a guy we fly with, who lives nearby. He has offered his services to me, which I gladly accept. He will be by tonight after work. With any luck I'll be back in business soon.

Try this Hackl, XP Anti spyware 2009 removal. I scanned the "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware tool" with AVG anti virus and avg anti spyware and nothing came up so it is clean as far as I can tell. I am trying it now on my computer as a test run. PS: I just finished a test scan and nothing was found on my end, the program appears to be legit. I hope it helps.

Tried to remove this thing and it proliferated itself. Had no choice but to do a clean install of windows I called in today so I could at least get in a position where I would be able to fly FS tonite. Proliminaries flights are promising. I think all I need is to back up the system now. Might have to wait until after FS tho. A HUGE thank you to CarbonFreeze from JG27 who offered his time and drove an hour to Anchorage from Wasilla in a snowfall(both ways) to give me a hand. Things will be a little funky for me until I get reorganized with the new setup.

Too bad it had to come to that, but at least it should be clean now.
