Good luck. It will be good to get that fixed so you can fly a normal mission.

Agreed, we'll keep a 109 fueled and stocked for you on the side lines until you get back from leave in Berlin ;D.

I'm telling you dude, save yourself the money and simply reformat the hard drive with a fresh install! You're going to pay an arm and a leg for those clowns at the computer store to do the same thing.

I'm willing to bet it is a hardware and not a software related issue. Do freeze ups, like in IL2, occur in other games or is it just IL2 ?
My other suspicion is that it is a pre-built computer and from past experience, they rig them to fail so you have to bring them in. I have built my own computers for about five years now and aside from problems I caused, I have not(fingers crossed) experienced any hardware failure.

Highly doubtful it's a hardware malfunction. It's most likely due to a porked software configuration. I'd put $20 Canadian on it and say it has something to do with that Bigsparsky's program you had running.

I built my last two, Not counting my new one, and they lasted over 4 years.
I bought the new one from IBUYPOWER for $940.00 and so far it's working great except I didn't get a top of the line sound card. My Fault. I was trying to keep the cost down and end up buying the sound card I should have bought to start with.
