It was much more simple on the old Teamspeak but now it is just frustrating.
I have gone through the "Whisper list" under Tools and under the "Hotkeys" section under Options. My real problem is when it asks for me to assign a hot key, it will not recognize my num pad numbers (with or without numlock activated) or any key on my keyboard for that matter. The only key it recognizes is the Esc key to cancel the hot key assignment.
Any thoughts ?

I am on the Ghost Skies TS right now playing with the whispers if you are able to come online.

I have looked online and it looks like I need to create a whisper list.
When I go to the "Whisper List" under tools, all of the options are grayed out. The only two options I can click are "New" and "Reload". The "New" button is the only one that does something and allows me to set a key binding however it does not recognize any key I push on my keyboard except the Esc key to cancel.
Online sources said to look for "Whisper List" under the Options but I cannot see it. Only the "Whispers" with a few options for Whisper sounds...etc are present.
Did I miss an enable option somewhere for Whispers ?

I just tried going through the "Hotkey" section of Options. Under Advanced options, a Whisper function does pop up but I run into the same problem with assigning a hot key: teamspeak 3 does not seem to recognize any key I push on my keyboard except for the Esc key.
I already miss Teamspeak 2's whisper setup as I do not remember it being this difficult before.

Well, you found how to do it. Tools - Whisper List - New - Press key then name the whisper. But why it won't recognize your key stroke after clicking on New, I have no idea.
