I'll be out of action for a week or so, aparently the x1900xt is one power hungry SOB. After searching a few forums, I found this out. It requires minimum 22A on the pcie rails (12V1/2), the Antec 550W psu I bought only had 19A. Just thought others might want to know, if they're thinking of upgrading. The 512 MB cards require a 600W power supply at the minimum. I'm getting an Enermax Liberty 620W recommended on the Sapphire forums. Here's before/after specs, if anyone is curious. It runs LOMAC real purty for about 5 minutes. | before | after | CPU | AMD 2600+ 2GHz | Pentium D 930 3 GHz (duel core) | Ram | 1 GB PC2700 | 2GB Corsair XMS2 PC5300 | VidCard | ATI 9800Pro 256 | Sapphire X1900XT 512 |

Nice one. Are you planning on this being SoW usable?

Hopefully, its hard to tell since SoW is still a year off. It was more to catch up with technology, I've really been noticing my computer struggling lately. Tepes will no longer be able to hide from me by diving into Frankfurt I wanted a new vid card, but only had an agp motherboard, new motherboard meant new processor, memory and psu. The domino effect left me with just my original sound card and dvd-rom. So this machine should last me a while, I'm not going to get Vista till it is stabilized and this anti-pirating nonsense is cleared up.
